NOTE: This audition form is for existing members, ONLY to create another character that they desire to bring into the rpg. New members will still have to go to the original audition form, which is pinned near the top of this section.
- All Rules Do Apply: I do recommend reading over the rules once again, if you need a refresh on them. In addition to those rules, existing members will have some additional rules that they will need to follow in order to make any new characters. So read through these rules carefully, and be aware that we will be checking.
- Hiatus: Should you have any characters on hiatus for less than a week prior to your audition date (not verdict day) then your character will be automatically denied.
- Activity: Meet The Family must be completed for all your characters, and each character must be in a story, prior to the addition of new characters. All starters created prior to the Monday preceding your audition must be responded to, at the same time, you may also have no locked stories. 90 days is plenty of time to reply to a post, remember you are proving you're able to keep up with your existing roles, prior to taking on a new one. (this will go into full effect starting in June 3, 2022)
- Character Limits: Effective as of 2020, members will have a three character entry limit per verdict day. Do note that above activity will apply to these characters as well as all previous ones. Note that exceptions do exist, but must be cleared, prior to the audition.
- Character Removal: Should you desire to remove a character, you will not be permitted to bring in another one until the next verdict day. Should we remove a character, then you will be required to wait at least a month (4 verdict days), before bringing in any new characters.
- The Form: Obviously the questions are different, existing members we do still have most of your information, so we need the basic information for each character. We will need this form filled out completely before your character request will be processed, this audition form can be submitted in either messages on rper.me, or in DM on Discord. Do note, forms for existing members will be accepted, no later than noon, the day of verdicts.
- Writing Samples: A writing sample is not required for all characters. There may be exceptions for this however, and will be at our own disclosure. Writing samples should be no more than 3 paragraphs, after all, this is a sample.
- Auditions Due: Your audition is due by noon on Friday prior to the verdict day you wish to audition for. There are are exceptions to this rule, but they are few, and very far between.
- Ex-Members: You will have to fill out the other form.
Marvel/DC
- Auditioning -4- this verse: In order to bring in a marvel/dc character, you need to have been an active member of the rpg, for at least three months.
- Age: You can take your character from any stage within their marvel/dc life, and the character will be yours. For example. Superman can come from either his movies where he's an adult, or Smallville, and will be claimed across the map. Do keep in mind however that we work in real time, which means, if your character is 16 today, it won't be 25 tomorrow.
- Your Most Notable Character: This can be any character you write within SOS, that we refer to you most as, or you are otherwise best recognized as.
- Last story you posted in (include date): If the post was made within the story in the last week, or you anticipate making new stories after putting in this audition, the story title is fine.
- Character Verse: What verse is the character you are auditioning for in? If you are auditioning an original character, what verse would it best connect to? Do note, that if your character is in fact an original character, that needs to be dictated here as well.
- Face claim + canon/oc: What is the name of the face claim or play-by you are using for your character? If it is a canon role, and the face is not canon, do please specify.
- Character's First & Last Name: Middle names are optional, but all characters should have a first, and a last name. The only exception to this is canon roles that do in fact not have a last name.
- Character's Relationship Status: What is the status of your character's Relationship? If you are single, are you single and not looking? If you are taken, by whom?
- Character's Species: As you should recall, we do have sire-lines for vampires and vampiric like creatures, as well as having wolf packs for canines, that we do ask you decide where you are set to.
- Character's Job: IF this does not apply simply put n/a.
